I wasn`t going to but I did it!!

I visited Lappemakeriet today, shopping for christmas presents for some dear friends. (Sorry, forgot my camera, I think I`ve got The Oldtimers, he, he). And there it was, hanging on the wall, next years BOM!!! And it looked much prettier in real life than the photo I saw in a Norwegian magazine. So I did it!! Even though I still have quite a few blocks to finish on the last BOM I joined. Yup, I did it! I put my name on the list (it was surprisingly easy), and I can`t wait for the first block to land in my mailbox.

I have made several of these "bagholders" (sorry, I don`t know the English word for it), I found the pattern in one of the latest issues of Quiltemagasinet. They were easy and fast to make, so I made ten right away.

Meet Pus, the latest addition to our family. He was my mother-in-laws cat, and moved into our home when she got sick and passed away. I am allergic to cats, but I have a soft spot for this old gentleman. He is the only cat allowed into my sewingroom (the other three manage to sneak in here quite often..), and he loves to take cat naps in my quilting basket.

Have fun sewing!

  1. Hvilket fargevalg falt du for på neste BOM ?

  2. Så flott at du vil ta vare på Pus selv om du er allergisk. Du får slynde deg ut og kjøpe "Petal Cleanse". Det smøres i pelsen en gang i uka, sies at det funker godt for allergikere. Billigst hos Euro Pris, men samme type selges hos dyrebutikker/veterinær.
