New year resolution

I have, like many of you I bet, huge piles of scrap fabric. I can not bring myself to throw them, so they lay around in an increasing number of boxes, taking up valuable space in my sewing room. Last fall I attended a class at Lappemakeriet, held by Hanne. She taught us handpiecing the american way.



I love this technique, and it is fab when it comes to working my way into the scrap piles. So, I have decided that from now on I will use any fabric leftovers right away, and cut out hexagons for later use. This techniqe is great for any blocks you like to sew.
