Still working

Today I finished the top I started on last weekend. I have decided that this will be the Goodbye Quilt for our dear colleague. Tomorrow I will start collecting signatures from my other colleagues, and I will put these on the back of the quilt.



(Can you see the little doggie butt??) There will be no side borders on the quilt. I hope to start making the sandwich early next weekend, and maybe finish the quilting within next Sunday. I have a heep of other projects to finish before Christmas, so I better get on with it.

    I've just passed by, reading in your blog. This lovely basket quilt fascinates me...not only for its beautiful fabrics. I think it's the perfect gift for someone who is leaving as the baskets will certainly be filled with all the good wishes from you and your colleagues.
