Sewing with the girls at "the Castle"
For the last couple of years I have met up with 5 wonderful friends; Hege, Åse, Ingebjørg, Anne and Pia, here at "the Castle", for cosy evenings of sewing. This old wooden building in the center of the town of Hønefoss is the home of the towns scouts, and us gals. Check out that awsome totempole!
Here are some of the ladys, busy sewing. The next generation quilter, gorgeous little N. (20 months) joined us tonight. She had a lot of fun playing with my spools of silkthread.
Hege has made this lovely wallquilt, with the recipe for norwegian waffles stitched on it. Mm, me like! It is not that long ago she proclaimed that she would never stitch, and look now! Hege, I am coming to your house soon, then we can eat waffles, stitch and get your blog going!
Have fun sewing
Siv Hege
