I am spending a few days at home, trying to teach Max not to chew on everything in the house and finishing the Goodbye Quilt. Our colleague is leaving the 12th, so the quilt is to be presented one week from today. No time to lose!
Today I sewed together the middlesection. I have to add some borders to lengthen the quilt, and I am thinking stars. Could add hearts, but we don`t want to give his wife the wrong idea, lol. So, I am thinking stars.
I've been a silent reader for some time and followed the progress of this beautiful quilt. Congratulations! I am sure the person who gets this wonderful gift will be very pleased and happy about it. It's a great "souvenir" of friends working together. Greetings from Switzerland, Barbara
A "traumatic" incident with an old sewingmachine and a apron in my childhood kept me from sewing for decades. However, around the year 2000, I discovered that sewingmachines today are very agreeable, and I was hooked - for good! I have four sons, and I live in a small town, not too far from Oslo.
Dette blir en flott avskjedsgave! Gleder meg til å se det helt ferdig.
ReplyDeleteDet blir kjempe lekkert. Du er så flink. Stor klem fra Agnethe
