Quilting in public

Today was the first European Quilting-in-public-day. It has been a rainy day, so we were glad we held the event indoors. Hege, Bente, Turid and I met at the mall (Kuben), where we exhibited some of our quilted jewels. Bente had also brought along several care quilts, that is soon to be delivered to hospitals.

We hanged the quilts along the escalator, and suddenly the area transformed from a cold, steril atmosphere into a tiny little quilting paradise:)

We had a nice time, chatting and sewing, and talking to curious people that dropped in. It was very hot though, so next year we will bring a parasol to keep us cool.

Have fun sewing!

Kjekt!
