Let me introduce you all to the latest family member, Max. Is he not the cutest?? He is a Norwich terrier, 11 weeks old, and impossible to get a clear picture of, lol
I brought him home yesterday, and he immediately started chasing the cats!! He gets really frustrated when they don`t want to play with him.
Having a puppy is a lot of work as well, so we both tumbled into bed last night, exhausted. He slept like an angel next to my bed :)

Slowly getting there
Oh, this has been a long, cold winter. How I long for spring!! Time flies, and my deadline for the Goodbye quilt is getting closer. Last week was pretty hectic, and I didn`t manage to sew much. However, I have managed to sew a few of the ninepatch blocks for the quilt.
Hm, still a lot to do, I see.
Have fun sewing!

PS. Come back on Saturday, and I will show you something wonderful............

The Goodbye Quilt
I am sorry for not blogging much this week. I blame it on internet, or lack of access that is. I hate when my gadgets doesn`t work, and me not knowing how to fix it!
This weekend I have been working like a mad woman on a new project. A dear colleague of mine is retiering, and I have persuaded my other colleagues to make a quilt for him as a goodbye present. We all thought his last working day would be in May, but now we find he is leaving 12. March!!! This means we are in a hurry!!!!!!
Kjell, that is his name, lives i the west of Norway, and every weekend he drives 6-7 hours (one way!!!) to get home and back again. What a guy!! I just had to make a stitchery of him driving over the mountains. Everybody is writing a personal greeting, whitch then is stitched onto fabric. I have displayed some of the fabrics I am planning to use. The colors will be brown and black. My fellow colleagues was afraid the quilt would be way to sweet and romantic (my style). I had to promise them to make a more masculine quilt. After some negotiation we have now agreed that I can use a little bit of flowers as well LOL.

Purchases
I promised you I would show the purchases I made when Lille Stasjon visited our guild a couple of weeks ago. Sorry it has taken so long, it has been a loooong week.
I found some lovely blue fabrics that I just had to buy. I also bought paper templets. The 3" hexagons I plan to use making a scrap quilt from left over fabrics from the newest BOM I have joined - En gartner. This means that I am actually making two quilts at the same time. Cool!
A good thing I have learned if I want to save some bucks, is to only visit the shop once. This prooved to be difficult this time, since the shop was situated next to my table ;)
So this book also went in my bag! Well, I hope I get around to actually sew something from it sometimes.
